Chiara Calore
Her painting is characterized by the juxtaposition of the most diverse figurative elements in an ironic and visionary way. Her canvases are populated by a bizarre and improbable mass of men, animals and freaks, who move around on the canvas in an anarchic way, in a forest of references.
After completing her first artistic studies, dedicated himself to restoration, collaborating with a professor of art history.
She was a scholarship holder at the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation. Among her solo shows Locus Amoenus and Genesis at Villa Draghi in Montegrotto Terme, Speculum Mundi at the Davide Gallo gallery in Milan.
Among the group shows: Salon Palermo 2, RizzutoGallery, Palermo; Milano Vetro at Castello Sforzesco in Milan, Opera viva at Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation, High Density at Magazzini del Sale in Venice, the Mestre Painting Prize at the Candiani Cultural Center in Mestre and Open Workshop at Forte Marghera.
