REARRANGEMENT

"Rearrangement is Jáchym Fleig's second solo exhibition at RizzutoGallery. For this new exhibition a new series of sculptures will be presented that resemble natural elements, such as wasp nests or geological concretions, combined with architectural elements. Structures that we recognize, from our everyday life but that present themselves in a mysterious way. Jáchym Fleig's work has little to do with naturalism, everything follows a strategic calculation of the artistic setting. The abstract and formal qualities of the sculptural structures are satisfied with the connection to what is already in the space that surrounds them."
