YoungVolcano 8
RizzutoGallery presents YoungVolcano 8, the eighth exhibition of a gallery's project designed to support and promote emerging Sicilian artists and future professionals in the art sector.
The protagonists of this new event are six young talents, students and former students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Palermo: Agnese Bruno, Serena Etiopia, Stefano Minutella, Ennio Parasiliti Caprino, Angela Pillitteri, and Ada Rizzo. The exhibition is accompanied by a critical text by Marcello Nocera and Martina Sanzeri, with graphic design by Giuseppe Balena.
The selection for this eighth edition—curated by professors Marcello Buffa, Francesco De Grandi, and Daniele Franzella—offers a diverse and vibrant glimpse into the new directions of painting and sculpture.
YoungVolcano is an artistic and cultural project conceived in 2020 by RizzutoGallery with the aim of supporting and promoting emerging Sicilian artists and future professionals in the art sector. The project combines exhibitions, communication, and cultural relations with the aim of building a network capable of generating concrete opportunities for young talents from universities and academies of fine arts in Sicily.
YoungVolcano is an exhibition platform, in many cases the first space offering legitimacy and visibility for emerging artists and, at the same time, a training environment for young curators, critics, photographers, videomakers, graphic designers, exhibition designers, and cultural communication specialists, offering them the opportunity to develop operational skills in real and professional contexts.
Over the years, YoungVolcano has established itself as an energetic and vibrant context capable of arousing interest even beyond regional borders, promoting the research of new generations and offering collectors and art lovers the opportunity to discover talented artists in the early stages of their careers.
